- CLINICAL SUPERVISOR -

- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist -

ABOUT ME.  I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the Clinical Supervisor at Mindbodyology.  I am passionate about helping people live fuller, calmer, more connected, and more joyful lives. I’ve come to believe that as we foster deeper connections within ourselves, there is a ripple effect in our community and throughout our interconnected world. When I am not in the therapy room, I enjoy traveling, being in nature, playing games, and volunteering at a local hospice.

MY APPROACH. My role is to be a curious, calm, compassionate, and enthusiastic companion as you explore your inner self and develop your approach to life. Being a human comes with many challenges and many delights. It can be very difficult and overwhelming to navigate the uncontrollable aspects that meet us on our life path. I am confident in people’s abilities to adapt, and I know we can get very creative when it comes to self-protection and managing tragedies, pain, and hardship. It is also the case that sometimes the ways we have adapted so far are causing us more harm than good. I am here to help support your inner evolution, so you can live life with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. I find blame, shame, and pathologizing to be utterly non-helpful in this process. In therapy, there will be both times for learning and times for unlearning; shedding layers, and bringing new layers to light. It is an honor to witness the great healing that humans are capable of.

MY EXPERIENCE. I entered the mental health field in 2015, working as a case manager in an outpatient hospital setting. During that time I completed my 200-hr Yoga teacher training and Level 1 training for the Center for Mind-Body Medicine.  In 2019 I received my Masters of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. Since then, I have worked in outpatient, IOP, PHP, and residential settings, providing individual, family, and group therapy for a diverse array of clients. I pursued additional therapeutic training in Gottman Couples Therapy (Level 1) the IFS (Internal Family Systems) model; completing Level 1 in spring 2021 via telehealth, and Level 2 in autumn 2023 in the Netherlands.
