ABOUT ME. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and depth psychologist with a background that bridges clinical practice, teaching, supervision, and systems-level leadership. My work has been shaped by decades of experience in public and community mental health, higher education, child welfare, and organizational consulting, where I have supported individuals, families, students, and professionals navigating complex psychological, social, and ethical landscapes. I hold a PhD in Depth Psychology and have taught across psychology and social work–adjacent disciplines, with a long-standing commitment to rigorous education, reflective practice, and culturally responsive care.
Throughout my career, I have been especially drawn to work at intersections—between inner life and social context, theory and practice, tradition and emerging realities. My clinical and teaching roles have allowed me to engage deeply with trauma, attachment, identity, meaning, and systems of care, while remaining attentive to how broader forces—technology, ecology, culture, and institutional structures—shape human experience. I see my role as one of translation and stewardship: helping people think, feel, and act with greater clarity, responsibility, and depth.
MY APPROACH. My approach is integrative, relational, and grounded in depth psychology and social work’s person-in-environment tradition. I attend carefully to unconscious process, lived experience, and systemic context, while emphasizing ethical discernment, reflective capacity, and relational presence. Whether working clinically, teaching, or supervising, I focus on cultivating attunement, critical thinking, and resilience—helping individuals and professionals engage complexity without losing their humanity. I am particularly interested in how emerging influences such as artificial intelligence, ecological stress, and cultural change intersect with psychological wellbeing and professional practice, and how we can meet these realities with care, curiosity, and integrity.
JOURNEY WITH ME. To journey with me is to slow down enough to listen—deeply and honestly—to what is unfolding beneath the surface. I invite a collaborative process that values reflection, meaning-making, and responsibility to self, others, and the larger systems we inhabit. Together, we explore not only symptoms or solutions, but patterns, relationships, and possibilities for transformation. This work is not about quick answers, but about developing the capacity to live and practice with greater awareness, steadiness, and connection in an increasingly complex world.
